Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas– Royal Caribbean set up a teen advisory board to come up with new ideas for Oasis. Among the new ideas are the Scratch DJ Academy, a youth spa, and trendy teen-areas for ages 12-14 and 15-17. Other activities include the FlowRider surfing simulator, rock climbing wall, ice-skating rink, zipline, and more. When it comes to food, casual restaurants like Johnny Rockets and the Wipeout Café will satisfy their cravings.

Norwegian Breakaway– Five multi-story waterslides, free-fall slides, and side-by-side slides for racing, are just some of what the Breakaway offers. Entourage, the teen program for ages 13-17 has snacks, sodas, an arcade, and a disco during the night hours. Teens can munch on 24-hour pizza, sushi, Teppanyaki, and fish and chips.

Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess– Royal Princess offers enrichment classes from ceramics to photography. The giant-screen Movies Under the Stars are designed for all ages. A batting cage, mini golf, and laser tag is just some of the physical entertainment onboard. Teen club Remix, for ages 13-17, has a private outdoor area with a lounge, wading pool, sunbathing, and other forms of entertainment. Inside club Remix teens have a lounge area, hip-hop dance classes, and a DJ booth. Mocktail parties, formal gatherings, group trips to see live shows, are offered as well. Teens can eat at a crab shack, fondue restaurant, pastry shop, and pizzeria.

Disney Fantasy– During the day teens can enjoy AquaDuck, the first watercoaster at sea, stretching the length of 2 and a half football fields. The Edge, the club for 11-13-year olds, has a huge wall of video monitors for games, and computers with access to social media networking sites. For teens 14 and older, Vibe has its own splash pools, lounges and club. They also have access to computers. In addition, plasma TV’s, a dance floor, a sundeck, Karaoke, dances classes, and more are available. Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, also offers, Hide Out, a private teens’ retreat on the beach. Teens have plenty of dining option with Vibe offering a smoothie and drink bar and Flo’s Café offering pizza, wraps, burgers, and chicken tenders to cater to teen appetites.
